Research Summary

I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Global Ecology, Carnegie Institution for Science, Stanford. Through my research projects I am also affiliated with the Centre for Ice and Climate, Niels Bohr Institute at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. My research interests include various aspects of atmospheric dynamics such as: global teleconnection mechanisms (high latitude induced tropical precipitation shifts and Hadley cell changes); the overall effect of changing sea ice cover on global and local circulation patterns; as well as the aspects of the abrupt past climate change (Dansgaard-Oeschger events).
